Nikon D80 full manual controls, pink hue in every photo... help!

Hi there,
i had a chance on the weekend to use my camera in a controlled environment, photographing wine being poured into a glass for a poster i am doing, i had white backround studio lights etc and there is a pink hue in every photo... now the thing is on the camera the picture looked perfect once it was viewed on a PC it has this pink hue. it can be fixed in photoshop but it is very annoying!

anyone have any idea why? i will get a picture on here and post as soon as i can.

any help will be appreciated :)

Have you tried printing one of these pictures? It's possible your monitor is badly miscalibrated. Hence the correction you are doing in PP is not corrective at all, but will throw your photo off-tone in reality.

I'd print a few to make certain.

yea maybe that is a good idea, mind you it looks pink on two different monitors. have a look here is one, all i have done is shrunk it to post...

Did you custom white balance beforehand?

backdrop is not pure white. the WB looks off to me, probably caused by that light you have in the background behind the table. no pinkish hue though on my monitor. heres a quick WB adjustment which shows up the bright white from that light and the colour disparity of your backdrop. nice photo though btw.

at least it isnt a camera flaw, that was my main concern :)

i am going to be taking some shots at a race meet this weekend (motorbikes) hopefully i can snap something worth posting :)
