Hello, new to the digital world. So I’m far from giving anyone advice so maybe you all can help me out. My in-laws are looking for an in expensive camera with a photo dock. (Camera must be a point and shoot type) and work well in low light situations. Thanks

How many megapixels? How much zoom (if any)? How low is "low light"? For my own curiosity, what advantages are they expecting to get with a dock?

do you mean photo printer dock, or just a regular dock? kodak makes the only sit-it-on-top printer dock that i know of and the prints from it are quite expensive per sheet. if you are just looking for a portable printer, canon, sony, and hp (i think there are others) also make them, but you don't dock the camera on top. you would instead connect via USB or use the built in card reader. if you are just talking about a regular dock, kodak makes an uneccessary and expensive dock that transfers pics charges the battery. HP and sony have docks with AV out and a remote so you can view pics on the TV from afar. Casio exilims come with docks that just charge batteries and connect to the computer, but have no AV out. there are probably more... ...so what kind were you looking for?
