So, go on, what's on the list for christmas?

What do you lot want in the way of gear? Don't deny it, you can see that long, long list of very expensive items infront of your eyes right now. :P What're you all hoping to, through one means or another, acquire this Christmas?

I've cooked up a fairly modest list, not going for anything too major just yet. I might try for a camera upgrade (Supported by some of my own money) next year when I've had some practice with the '50. But till then, I've got a few things in mind:

Velbon CX Mini Tripod
Manfrotto Professional Monopod (Black)
Lowepro Sideline Shooter (Nice roomy bag)
Hoya Super HMC PRO-1 Circular Polariser
FZ50 remote shutter cable
Lowepro Filter Pocket
Olympus FL-36 Flashgun

I might opt for a cheaper Polariser until I get a camera upgrade, so I don't have to bugger around with thread sizes...not sure really. Will the '50 autofocus with a linear?

Don, you realize the only logical way to use that thing would be over your shoulder, which would look enough like a bazooka to get you shot.

(do they let you remove the front element to store all your cameras and gear - including flash setup - inside?)

Personally, since Christmas comes around during the lean part of the year, I probably won't make off with more than maybe a new bag. Maybe a 2 Million Dollar Home?

Salma Hayek is married with a new baby now. Jeri Ryan got remarried in June. It's unlikely you will get either for Christmas but perhaps some more available women will come along.
