Thanks for participating Jason,

I think we know what most are shooting, but I thought it would be cool to compile a list, though it would be a short lived list.

I'm sure that I read somewhere recently that the D50 was still Nikons best selling DSLR in terms of volume.

For those interested in statistics check out this Flickr page with Nikon camera information. (http://www.flickr.com/cameras/nikon/)

There are nearly 15 million photos on Flickr that were taken with D50's!

Yeah, but did you see the Rebel XT with 30 Million? Crazy!

The S3/S5 Pro don't count? If you think about how Sony makes most of Nikon's sensors, the S3/S5 Pro are almost as Nikon as a real Nikon. Instead of a Sony sensor, it's a Fuji sensor. And if you shoot RAW, the image processor is taken out of the equation, so it's basically a 3rd party sensor in a Nikon body in both cases. Hmm... :p

I might have to redo the list after the D300 comes out, it sure seems as if there are quite a few in the future for some our forum brethren. Ahem

Why did Coldrain have such a vendetta against the D40? All he had was a Rebel XT and a couple of okay lenses (the 70-200 f4 L is pretty nice, but his pictures...well, I've seen a lot better out of a Rebel XT).

CR's Greece photos were excellent, I thought.

Man, the D50 has pulled a very significant lead.

O_O YOUVE SEEN COLDY'S PICTURES!?!?! I swear I looked all in the Canon forum and never saw 1 picture from him. Kinda like Razr...

Coldrain posted pictures regularly in the Canon forum. His pictures of Greece are indeed excellent. His macro work is really good too, the depth of field in the pictures is very well controlled and the colours are brilliant.

Sure, there will always be people pulling better stuff out of a certain camera, but Coldrain's pictures are definitly better than the fast majority of the users of that camera.

Coldrain is too fanatic at times, but he has contributed a lot of valuable information to this forum.

Rooz, I pointed that out a couple of post earlier. lehew is the proud owner. You can pull the list of owners by clicking on any of the camera vote totals. At least i think every one can besides me since I started the poll.

Not wanting to turn this into a CR thread, but I enjoyed many of his photos.
I actually tried to buy one he posted once, "two owls", I just liked the shot.
He had his own style of flower photography and his own style conversing.

back to our regulaly scheduled program, D50 out in front yipee.
