a camera better than A95??

hi.
i want to buy a camera and i want it to be so better than canon powershot A95;more powerfull zoom,more advanced features,and better photo quality.i can pay up to 1100$.which camera should i buy?

I am currently thinking of 2 cameras... the first one is the Pro1 and the second one the G6.

That is a big budget. I'd say get a Canon Rebel. But you'll need to be really really serious about photography to get one as additional lenses cost a ton.

For a compact camera. I'd say the Canon G6, but it has only a slight advantage in terms of zoom power, but very good overall.

If you want the 8MP boys, try the Olympus 8080. It has a wide angle zoom and gets good reviews too. The KM A2 is also another to look for.

And the ultimate camera in zoom power (currently) would be the Panansonic FZ20 (12X zoom). The only downside is the slightly noisier pics, but not everyone complains about it.
