Here are some pictures I took yesterday of some autumn colours in the park near to my house. Again, no HDRs, sorry :).

These were taken with the D50 and the 50mm, 135mm or the Sigma 10-20.

I hope you'll enjoy the shots. Comments and Critique is welcome.

Thanks for looking.

#1: Leaves backlit by the sun, taken with the 135
30155

#2: A tall tree and its reflection, taken at 10mm with a polarizer.
30156

#3: Red leaves through the 50mm. This lens has some nice bokeh too, as long as there are no highlights.
30157

#4: Red leaves with a bit more perspective (taken at 10mm).
30158

#5: Ducks and a nice background (with the 135)
30159

#6: Some leaves (also through the 135)
30160

#7: A leave in the water (threw it in myself and shot it with the 135)
30161

The exif is still intact, you can read it easily with the Opanda Exif viewer. With the 135mm shots you won't be able to get much info out of it, since according to my camera it is the 0mm f/0 :).

Wonderful colours and good looking bokeh in those shots especially with the 135mm. I like the leaf in the water shot, the blackness of the water makes a good contrast. You must be getting some good practice manual focusing.

I like this shot. looks "dreamy"

Nice capture

Nice bokeh, but the photo is fairly plain IMO. Nice colours though

#4: Red leaves with a bit more perspective (taken at 10mm).
30158

I dont really like the out of focus stem on the left.

#5: Ducks and a nice background (with the 135)
30159

The ducks are too far away and there is not enough in the foreground

#6: Some leaves (also through the 135)
30160

I thought the bokeh looked weird on this one. "Starry" is the way I would describe it.

#7: A leave in the water (threw it in myself and shot it with the 135)
30161

This is nice. The black is a nice border to the leaf.

since according to my camera it is the 0mm f/0 :).

Now THAT would be a nice lens....:)

Nice colours and scene in that park

Thanks for the comments AChuang and Herc.
AChuang, I am glad you like the shots. Using this lens is indeed a good practice for manual focussing. I am getting better at it, but still miss the focus quite often. With such a shallow DOF it has to be spot on.
Herc, thanks for the elaborate critique. That's really helpfull, thanks.

Nice shots, makes me wonder why I thought I needed a better camera than a D50?

Nice set of colors,
Landscapes are your thing, wide or not, they look good.
Around here things go from green to dead, maybe I can find some color if I get out from behind this monitor.

Thanks a lot for the comments, Rich, Xailo and Mike. I'm glad you like the pictures.
Mike, I could think up many reasons why one would need a D200. The ability ot meter with AI-s glass and more bracketing possibilities are just two things I would really like to have :).
Rich, over here the change is really quick too. Last year I got hardly any shots of autumn colours because I was busy while the colours were best. This year I luckily had more time in that period.

Your right Dennis, exactly why I got the D200 plus the 5fps.

Thought Dennis and I had problems capturing leaves color changes,
but you need 5 fps to get the job done, fall comes fast in Cali!
