I have the Nikkor 50mm 1.8 prime lens. I often find that I need something a little wider and am consider the Sigma 30mm 1.4 or the Nikkor 35mm f2. I like the Sigma based on the HSM, a full stop faster and a little wider. However, it has gotten mixed reviews and is more expensive. The Nikkor has gotten very good reviews, but from what I understand has an older autofocusing system. It is a stop slower than the Sigma and I'm not sure how much of a difference I will notice from my 50mm 1.8 lens. So, does anyone else have an opinion on these lenses? Thanks!

Read and see which one will work best for you. Kenrockwell can be a little biased, but gives great reviews on performance and stuff you should know like what used Nikkor 35mm f/2 may do with the lubrication.
