Hi everyone,
I am having a difficult time uploading the pictures to my PC. There are no instructions as faras I can see in the owners manual. I have gone to the Toshiba website, the adaptec site. I have all of the cables connected and my computer does not recognize that the cmera is attached.

If you have Windows XP (and maybe Windows 2000) the camera should be recognized and show up as a drive.
If you are using Windows 98 SE or ME then you will need a driver. Try here:
http://www.toshiba.com/taisisd/isd_svc/svcdsc/drivers.shtml#
If not, you can buy a USB multi-card reader for less than $15 that will read the SD memory card.
Hope this helps.

Did your camera come with Software on a CD? If it is new out of the box it should have since most digital cameras come with Software. If it did make sure you install it properly, it should automatically install a driver and the needed software that you need to view your pictures. As George said, if you are running Windows XP or 2000 it should show as a "removable disk/drive" in "My Computer." In Windows XP it actually comes up automatically after you plug the device in and power it on.
One more final note, if all software and drivers are installed and you still do not see your images, at times with certain digicams they have a setting that you have to turn to so it changes to PC Mode. I have a Toshiba PDR M81. For it to connect to the PC properly I have to change the dial to PC MODE wich is marked with an Icon that has 2 arrows <------> Something like that :)
Regards.
