I have bought an SD300 about a month ago and whilst its a great camera, i have been having power problems.
Before it would intermittently power down, which i assumed to be down to the power saving function, but now it is powering down as soon as I turn it on and it won't stay on.
The battery is fully charged and the only way I can get it to stay on is if I keep my finger on the on/off button.
Anyone else been having similar problems and any news on fixing it?
The other side to my problem is that I bought the camera in Bangkok and they only gave me a warranty for Australia and NZ. I think they should have given me an international warranty. I am now in Hong Kong and I wonder if customer services in HK will be able to look at my camera under warranty.
Again anyone had any experiences of using warranties in foreign countries?
