My bag is hardly fitting my equipment, so I am interested to know what you guys use, and how big is big enough.
Mine is a Quantaray C100 SLR Camera Bag (http://www.ritzcamera.com/product/441663200.htm).
I have a couple of bags. I tend to prefer backpack type bags personally. None of my bags will hold all my gear which is why I select very carefully what gear I carry.

I have several bags, but that is simply since I may NOT what to carry everything or just want to use a specific lens. However, here is one photo of my large rolling backpack and a few of my Pelican 1620/1624 rolling hard case. I actually thought about a larger Pelican case until I started checking into airline restrictions. The rolling backpack also holds my notebook computer as well.

BTW, my tripod is strapped to the bottom of the bag. Entirely self-contained. Hey...wait a minute. Where's my cable release? I don't see it in there! That makes two I've lost this year! :D

Canon XT with Tamron 18-200, Canon K2 with kit 28-90 USM, Canon S5IS, Canon 75-300 USM, 220EX, 430 EX, 3 spare 2 gig cards, 1 spare 35 mm, BG-E3 grip for the XT, batteries and chargers, filters, lens shades.
It works for me.
