Kodak M753 screen???

Hi, I just purchased this camera today. The viewer screen seems very pixel-y (like blue specs throughout). When I take pics and review them the screen looks fine.

Is this normal? Should my view screen have poor resolution before I snap the photo?

You may see this if taking pictures in low light. The camera is illuminating the scene with just the tally lamp, and so the LCD is cranking up the gain to be able to see anything. When you take the picture with a flash, the scene is illuminated much brighter, so reviewing the picture looks better.

Otherwise, I don't really know.
