Hello everyone, its been a while- my bro has given me the job of finding him a cheap digital camera for a trip(s) he is going on..and other stuff. it will be mainly used for skiing on the trip(s) so he is probably going to want a video mode-avi format preffered- and any special scene modes are welcomed with open arms-
one big thing is that he wants one for $200-less(..Canadian)...which limits a lot.. but is still possible..i offered to let him use my fuji a330(which i dont need as much-just got a canon zr80 miniDV)--but he doesnt want to break it or anything...soo here i am asking for your advice..
so far i have looked into a310-which seems to be somewhat what i am looking for..if not just what i am looking for..
Thanks for the help alot-
MiKe
ps-replies asap would be nice..

Try the Canon A400, small light and very cheap. I've tried a friend's. Not fancy but takes pretty good outdoor pics and AVI movies too. Indoors, forget it. Selling for about US150 or less, but factor in a larger memory card and rechargable batts.
