Hi, I'm hesitating between the s6000fd and canon S3is... How is the quality of video in every light situation, how is the focus and how is it at the end of teleporto (no stabilisation for the fuji)? Is it a heavy camera to have some trip in the mountain or forest? And my last question is it a solid camera, well built?
thanks

Video is very good for it's resolution. It's focus works well both day and night. I've shot some thunderstorms at night with good results.

This camera does weight a bit and I would not want to hike with it around my neck but I would have no problem backpacking it.

Build quality is really solid. I've traveled around the US with this camera, been through airports, carried daily, etc. with no problems.

I recently bought my s6500fd and sold my Canon S3 IS. The desicion was purely based on image quality, and i am very pleased with the Fuji.

The Fuji is however quite a lot bigger, none of my earlier bags fits, so that should be a consideration. Best would be if you could feel and handle both cameras before you decide.
