I purchased an FZ10K online today for $400 (open box). I’m wondering if it was a good choice. Did I pay too much? I don’t see a difference between the FZ10 and FZ10K. Is there a difference? How is the picture quality? I want color saturation and I’m not sure if the FZ10K will provide that. This is my first digital camera so I’m not sure what to expect and I have nothing to compare it too. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.

not sure about the price. I've seen people sell FZ10 with additional memory card and filters for as low as 330.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by comparing FZ10 and FZ10K. These two are the same model, probably with different body color, FZ10K being black. I've used FZ10 myself several times and picture qualities are generally good. If you're not happy with the saturation, you can crank up the in-camera saturation control. Hope this helps. Color saturation is nothing to worry about. Keep your cameras saturation on low, then use photoshop or the included software to saturate it, more control!
