I'm really torn between these 3 choices. I don't know if I'll ever use all of the features on the A95, but I don't want to sacrifice picture quality just to have a really tiny camera.

I think I'm leaning towards the S500 because it is 5MP and still small. This will be mostly for family pics. Any advice?

One thing to consider is that the S500 and S410 don't have any/many scene modes, the SD300 has a whole bunch. These would come in handy if you don't want to mess with the few manual controls that you have available on either camera. The Digic-II processor also means the SD300 should be faster to take pictures, but I haven't used the S500 to know how much.

I'm happy so far with picture quality of the SD300, but I suspect that if pushed hard you will see slightly better image quality in the S500. It's debatable if you'd notice the difference for family pics.
