View Full Version : A "must have" for Lightroom users?
Scott Kelbys new book The Lightroom Book for Digital Photographers (http://www.kelbytraining.com/?page=product&id=57).
I have his Photoshop book and I like his style and presentation. I can see myself investing in this new one at some stage.

cool i'll have to check that out. i liked lightroom better than CS 3. i don't mind switching back and forth it think lighroom has more to offer when it comes to raw..maybe i just don't know everything about CS3 who knows

MAybe we can get a group discount, it is on my to purchase list as well.
Amazon have them for around US$26.00
There is also a V1.1 update PDF that you can download but you need to have the book because they ask a question (what is the first word on the third paragraph on page 17 sort of thing) before you can download.

I was wondering if it was current, there were quite a bit of changes from
Lightroom 1.0 to 1.1 ex. noise, sharpening, and clarity to name a few. Of course now we are at v.1.2 but as long as you can update the book without having to buy a new one everytime Lightroom makes changes, that is great.
I was thinking of waiting a bit to see if there is a 1.1 update of the actual book. The 1.1 -1.2 update is really minor and a bug fix / added camera support thing but as you say the 1.0 - 1.1 was quite major and I'd hate to have to read the book AND a PDF at the same time.
