I'm having problems with my Fujifilm S6000 fd. When I put it away last it was working fine, but I took it out today and something is wrong with the pictures. My pictures come out out of my camera with all kinds of lines, as seen here (http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b6/promiscuousman/00013.jpg). When I was taking them I adjusted the exposure time to 1/4000 seconds and aperature to f11, the indicator said that the picture would be completely dark, but still showed up on the camera as very over exposed. Has anybody else experienced this problem? Does anybody know if it is possible to fix this problem?

Thank you,
Cory

It looks like a job for Fuji service centre. Is it still under warranty?

I purchased this camera last December, I'm not sure how long the manufacturers warranty lasts. I just sent an email to them about this problem. Has anybody seen a similar problem so I know what may have caused this. If anybody has an idea what something like this would cost to repair I'd like to know if it's worth making the repair.

thanks,
Cory

eg. here (http://www.cyberfoto.pl/fuji/86036-s6500-poziome-linie-na-zdjeciach.htm) some somebody is describing the same problem, about horizontal lines showing up on the picture, like the image was interlaced. That link is to Polish forum, but they say its due to a faulty CCD sensor, so camera has to be returned if its still under warranty.

Definitely a hardwareproblem. Some posts of a german forum:

Normally camera warranty is 12 months. I'm not expert but this looks like sensor or other hardware problem that you can't fix yourself.
