Anyone notice a blue hue ..especially with telephoto?????

A little bit. Could be white balance.

First one looks like backlit atmospheric haze. It can have a blue tint.

Second image not available.

Flowers are shot in open shade, therefore will have a blue cast.

If you shoot in those kinds of atmospheric conditions a lot of the time, it may pay to invest in a warming polarizer.

Until then, there's always post processing...

Your first shot after 90 seconds in PaintShop Pro X2...and that's working with an at least twice compressed and twice downsized jpeg. The results would be significantly better applied to the original jpeg.
