White Balance with External Flash

Howdy.

I have the FZ20 and picked up the Sunpack 383. Love the way it works for indoor photos but feel that some of the photos have a yellowish hue. I assume it is from using the Flash setting for white balance and that adjusting the WB would fix the problem. Is there a standard method of setting the white balance when using a flash like this? Should I use the manual setting or does the flash itself "color" photos?

Try using auto. Also in flash white balance you can adjust towards blue or red and maybe find a happy medium. The flashes color temp also affects the look. Also if you bounce the ceiling/wall colors come into play.
