HOW to save EXIF in Lightroom

alright i export my pictures as tif because i shoot in raw, i just got light room and photshop automatically saves the exif. Whenever i export a file from lightroom and put it on flickr, the exif never shows up

whats the deal? am i missing something

Look at the actual image, does it have EXIF?
I did a quick test and noticed my image retains EXIF after exporting from LR.

Hank did you try what I mentioned in the Nikon POTD.

Under export, down to metadata uncheck minimize and check
box marked Write Keywords as Lightroom Hierarchy

rawpaw i did that, and it still shows up IN lightroom but when i export it, and put it up on flickr it disappears. it worked fine in regular photoshop i dunno what the deal is

Hank, immediately after exporting it, right click on the image on your HDD and see if the EXIF is intact.
We need to isolate the source of the problem, if it's lightroom or flickr.

this might sound stupid haha but how do you view the exif from the picture on the harddrive

I use Opanda's program for exif, right click gives you the choice of
opanda or windows exif under properties-advanced. I do not use flickr, so
can not offer any other fixes for ye.
