Bargains at Goodwill

I popped into Goodwill the other day and found ink cartridges there in a huge box. Amazingly most fitted my Canon i560 printer (which is OK for 99.9% of my printing). I bought 4 (one of each colour) for $4 total. A few days later I needed one so I popped it in. It worked brilliantly so today I went back and bought about 6 of each colour and a ton more of the black cartridges. Total expenature? $39 and I now have enough ink to last a few years!

Goodwill gets surplus or extra stock from Target. There is a GW near me that has it's own computer section. They have lots of used computers and parts in addition to new computer items (i.e., Sony DVD media and such). They also have Playstation2 games and accessories. Of course YMMV.

There are several charaties down the street from where I work--needless to write, I refer numerous items to them, i.e. computers, monitors, file cabinets, etc.

I got my first cameras from the Goodwill: box cameras loading 120 film and costing between 5 and 25 cents. I had a couple of Brownies just like this one:

I saw a nice-looking compact for about $2.50 but when I took a look inside the batteries had all rotted and were buried in green fuzz. I doubt they would have come out and the compartment door fell off when I opened it.

I wish I could find an inexpensive and old film camera at my goodwill.
I got nothing but john denver albums and lamps.
