i had posted some quick conversions in the "photo of the day" thread, but here's the rest since i'm done with all of them. this was from 2 weeks ago.
most of these were with the 24-70 on 5D, some 24-105. for outdoors fill, i used a canon 430ex, for indoors the trusty metz 54mz. i've switched back to the 24-70 from 17-55, though i still can't say i like the 24-70.
the b&w shots are available light (except for last), the ceremony filled where obvious, formals hella filled, and reception all flashed.
for sunset, chimped every shot and manual exposure though light was changing really quickly. if you want a richer sunset, underexpose ambient more. i varied it not knowing which the bride prefers, but my preference is to keep the subject and background's exposures close.
this was a very cool couple and the burger cake cracks me up every time i look at it

The shots are excellent! I hope you'll forgive me if I say that one of the most interesting things is that this guy got married in a suit and sandals!!

thanks nqjudo! the bride wore slippers, too. it was non-traditional but typical Florida fun! the ceremony/formals weren't on the beach itself, but right outside a posh condo with frontage.

thanks r6isnum1... i tried to mix em up, and, with a sunset, silhouettes were definitely going to taken. it's pretty easy for those who haven't tried... against the bright sky, just expose for the sky and shoot. or if in auto exposure mode, lock exposure after pointing to the sky.

You got some really nice ones. I esp. like the outdoor shots near the wooden walkway. Good job!
Nice shots, great flesh tones.
Love the group lobby shot with them goofing around.
My fav is them sitting on the wooden porch.
In looking from shot to shot, it's amazing how a slight tilt of her shoulders (not squared off to camera) makes a difference.
Thanks for posting!

Thanks Peter. What's new? Haven't seen you post sexy models in a while.

thanks Vich. i've been known to yell out "sideways! more, more! weight on backfoot! bend that elbow! tilt your head a bit!" during weddings :D

I've had a couple of actor headshot photo sessions lately but no model shoots. I'm prepping for my China trip later this month and working on this short little video project (1:30) based on the clone photo I posted on the Pic of Day thread. So far I've put in around 30 hours of editing time on it! so that's keeping me busy. :)

Yeah, but try moving around too much and that minister will slap you down! ;)
