Which P&S suits my needs? G9, A650 IS, Fuji50fd or others

I have refined my search for a camera. We are getting another digital camera to go along with our oooold SD300.

Budget: Up to around $500
Size: Not too bulky (i.e. no DSLR or DSLR-like (e.g. S5) but also not too filmsy (no Exilim)
Megapixel: 7M+
Optical zoom: 4x-6x
Image Quality: At least 8 out of 10
Manual controls: Very much preferred (like to play with camera on top of everyday use)
General use: Indoor shooting (baby), Travel shots
Big prints: Very few
Indoor/Low lights: Yes
Sports/Action: Baby counts?
Brand preferred: Canon
Models in mind: G9, A650IS, Fuji50fd (suggested by tim11 thanks!)
Features preferred: Image stabilization (for shaky hands), Hotshoe, Fast power up time, Fast continuous time

Of those 3, the G9 is the only one with RAW capability if that matters to you.

For low lught go with the Fuji.

Haven't seen any reviews on the IQ of the G9 or A650 yet.

A650 is much like the G series cameras, just for $100 less. I wouldn't be surprised actually if they had the same guts, just a different outer body.
