New, better AF system.

New, higher resolution sensor.

New, bigger LCD display for live view, with 30 frames per second live view possible.

Even faster max, frames per second, 6.5 vs. 5.

Custom settings on the mode dial.

Possibility to swap focus screens. Set of two different ones around $75.

Body has more weather and dust protection.

Sensor delivers 14 bit images, instead of 12 bit (per colour channel). This either means finer gradations or more dynamic range in RAW.

Bigger view finder.
