I am asking this on behalf of an office-mate/friend who has a Canon S2 (on my recommendation). I have since upgraded to the S3 for myself, but that is not important.
So my friend has been using a Corsair 512mb SD flash mediacard, 60x speed for a few months now, as have I. No problems for me with this brand of card. It has worked fine for my friend, also, no problems until this weekend when she turned on the camera to review some past pictures, and was greeted with this "Unidentified Image" message. She then took the memory card out and placed it in a family members Kodak camera, and was able to view (and download) the images just fine.
One thing she mentioned is seeing the menu screen on her camera display when she turned it on, as she might have accidentally bumped the menu button. Not sure if this means anything.
Thanks for your time... hoping someone can explain what the problem might be.
