Fuji Lens Is Stuck?

I have a Fuji A310. The lens seems to be stuck in the camera. When I turn on the camera, the green light appears, but the lens does not come out. It was fine until this week. We've had it for about 3 years but we don't use it often.

I've tried new batteries and also the A/C power cord. Again, the camera does go on (display is on, green light is lit), but the lens is asleep.:)

Is the camera dead, or is there something I might try to fix this? I have examined the area as best I can, but I don't see any dirt or other problem.

Check the troubleshooting section in the user's manual of your camera, failing that, you will probably need to send it off to either Fujifilm or a camera repair store to get it fixed. I doubt there is any 'quick fix' for this problem but you never know, someone might have some good advice for you or may have experienced a similar problem. Good luck.
