I have the Canon and I think its a little heavy/bulky for a ultra compact. Go you your camera store and pick up the Canon. Then pick up a Casio Exilim, Sony T series or any other ultra slim camera. The Canon feels like a brick.

However, the Canon takes the best pictures of any compact, bar none.
