Just messing around in the sink... that's a CD in case you're wondering, it gave me the rainbow of colors.

AWESOME pic!!! get to the kids toys next LOL I shot some pics of my sons matchbox cars and playset years ago and just loved the colors and it just being out of the norm and yes I'm talking Macro :-) But great pic again and the CD was a great idea. I'll have to try that some time.

if I had kids, i could take thier toys... but I'm 19 and don't want kids anytime soon :D

Could you tells us the camera settings? Did you use a special close up lens? How'd you light it?
PS - how's Buffalo these days - went to school there from '83-'87. :)

Buffalo's still cold and boring :D
for this shot, all I used was the macro function and zoomed in a little bit. Lighting I used the flash. And camera settings are:
Tv( Shutter Speed ) - 1/60
Av( Aperture Value ) - 2.8
Exposure Compensation - 0
ISO Speed - 80
Image Size - 2560x1920
Flash - On
File Size - 1843KB

-Dan :) May I ask what settings you had your camera set at? It almost looks like a high speed strobe light picture.
