I was out with the 17-55IS this afternoon and snapped a pic of the dog playing around. The light was garbage but I like the capture. 1/250 f/7.1 ISO 200 @ 55mm.

Thanks guys. Adam - I was actually surprised by the paws myself when I looked at the LCD. I never noticed that before. I made him jump over several more things and sure enough it's like that every time. I guess that's what photography is all about - showing us things in a way that we don't usually see them.

That was actually a casual jump for him. He can clear obstacles significantly higher than that.
