Tranferring from Camera to MP3 player/Pendrive

just found this site and it looks great and should be useful when my FZ20 arrives.

Probably a really dim first question but here goes.

I have a 512mb "pendrive" type mp3 player and wondered whether it is possible to transfer pics from the camera to it when the SD card is full?

For a start I think the USB lead would be the wrong gender from the camera.

Anyone managed this?

I have ordered an FZ20 which I probably wont get until New year now (aaarrrgghhh!) and the mp3 player is being repaired so I have neither to test this theory.

The answer is: Unless the MP3 pen-drive is set up to accept data from a camera this will not work (I can't think of any that are). You can probably upload JPEG images for storage, from your PC/MAC but not for direct viewing.
