Looks like I've managed to get some dust in my A620 sensor. It shows up when stopped down, at f-stops the scene modes sometimes use as well as ones I use in Av or M. (f/5.6 and higher)
Looking through my photos, it looks like this happened relatively recently.
I know how to deal with this on my dSLR. What are my options here, besides ignoring it and cloning it out on photos where it matters?

chances are its "dry" dust
Get yourself some canned air(make sure it doesnt use liquid propelant) and blast some air in all the little holes that the dust might have gone through.
Other option is to send it to a profesional, but my above "solution" is ussually their first step aswell

I use "Dust Off" brand for other tasks around the house. How can I make sure it doesn't use a liquid propellant? I'm fairly certain it does, since if you discharge the can upside down you get crap all over the place.
What brand do you recommend?

Our brands will be completelly different than yours. Check the can if it contains nitrogen, thats ussually what they use for propelents. If you turn it around and spray and you see some moisture when you spay, it containts liquid propelent

The can I have here definitely has a liquid propellant. I'm not sure I've ever seen one which didn't have a liquid propellant, or how to identify them...

Most of the compressed airs you use to blow out computers are just highly compressed air cans. Those are the ones you need. If it says anything more than compressed air on the can, it contains propelent

Locally, this is really the only stuff I can find.

I think it has a propellant. If I turn the can upside down and spray it on my had, there is moisture.
There is a CompUSA not far from here. <http://www.compusa.com/> The Memorx product says "Moisture free". Can that be trusted?

In acctuall fact, the propellent wil not reach your cams sensor, its merely a precaution.
If you feel confident that you wont spray enough to get the liquid inside the camera, then any brand will do the job.
Good luck and be carefull

I wrote to Canon. I can still get out of warranty service, but they aren't willing/able to give me a quote without sending the camera to them. Not sure if I want to be without the camera that long for a price I may not be willing to spend anyway...
