Hello, I have been reading plenty of reviews on this site, and others, for digital camaras. This is my first time buying a digital camara, and I am stumped, but it's not my first time using one.

My [narrowed down] choices are:
Casio EX-Z55
Panasonic Lumix FX7
Canon SD300

First off, I went to Fry's and looked at the camara selection, all three camaras felt really good in my hand. What I'm looking for, though, is good picture quality, quick and responsive, easy to be used, obviously compact and take anywhere, and durability (i.e. battery life and etc.)

The basic use of my camara will be for indoors and out (i.e. family, friends, school, projects, and plain ol' fun). I really don't want more oppinions, but feel free to add anything. I hope that my decision will make me happy. If you must ask why I want a digital camara, it's a Christmas/Belated Birthday present (I'm 16). And yes, I have read reviews about the camaras on this site. Thanks for your time.

P.S.: This is to ask and obtain other user's oppinions, obviously.

These were my first choices:

Casio EX-Z55
Panasonic Lumix FX7
Canon SD300

But when I went to go buy my camara, I ended up buying the Sony Cybershot DSC-T1. I've been testing out the camara, inside and outside. Day and night. This would be the 3rd day I've tested it out. And I'm not satisified. I really need help choosing a camara. I've tested the camara in different modes and lightings. And I'm still not satisified. Also, after reading many user reviews of this camara, they seem to have the same problems, though the majority of the reviews were all and I qoute: "OMG!!! THIS IS SUCH A COOL CAMARA GET IT!!!!!!!!", and some a bit more professional. I'm sick to my stomach, and I need to make a decision.
