I have a Circular Polarizer for my S2. What is the best kind of Polarizer for this kind of camera? Circular or Linear? I notice a lot of times the photos come out under exposed with the Circular.

It does not matter what "type" of polarized light filter you use, the circular and linear filters use EXACTLY the same filter method.
The only difference is that the "circular" filter changes the ligyt wave direction of the already filtered light, so that AF sensors from for instance DSLRs still will work reliably.
With a DSLR it does matter what type you use, with a compact digital like the S2 IS it does not matter.
The under exposure just is a function of you letting the camera meter on a bright subject, it has little to do with the pol. filter. With the added contrast it just shows more.
