Hello. Newbie here. I was wondering what online photo sharing sites ya'll use and why? Which ones have you tried and didn't care for? My main question is that I'm stuck using a dial up modem connection. I know that it will take forever to upload my photos so I'll probably have to crop them down to thumbnails. Should I go for one of the free sites (otophoto or dotphoto) or should I just spend the $30.00/year for Smugmug that everyones raving about. That's not really much to have "ad free" and other features. What are your opinions? Thanks.

I am a smugmug subscriber, and it's your $30 per year, but for a 56K dial-up user this is probably overkill. There are several free sites that would work fine. I think Shutterfly, Ofoto, and Club Photo all offer free space.

I pay £20 per year and get my own domain name, 100mb webspace, shopping cart and pop3/smtp email facilities.
