I was just wondering if using Raynox DCR-250 lens on my Canon S3 requiring use of spacial S3 adaptor?

I think you mean that you are new "here" instead of "hear" :) anyway, to use the Raynox DCR 250, you need to have the lens adapter attached. :)

All add-on lenses require an adapter on the S3. I got mine at Lensmate (http://www.lensmateonline.com/newsite/S2.html).
