For those of you who own the WC-DC58B for the G7, you must know the funky long plastic lip that the back of the lens comes with. I suppose it makes the heavy lens "more secure" (with it's plastic threads and all :rolleyes:), but it causes me problems and grief when it comes to attaching a 58mm circular polarizer between the wide angle (WC-DC58B) and the adapter (LA-DC58H).
I tried buying a "58mm spacer" from Filter Connection, but it ended up just being the metal frame of a shoddy quality 58mm screw-on filter without the glass. That doesn't work because the lip that holds the glass prevents the long plastic lip on the wide angle from coming through (and it is stamped thi metal so using a lathe to turn away the lip is not possible).
Does anyone have any ideas, or has solved this problem before??? If there is a product out there, I'll buy it! But I haven't found one yet.
