* What budget have you allocated for buying this camera?

i Can Spend up to 750€

Size

* What size camera are you looking for? Or does size not matter at all to you?

Size and weight don't matter for me.

Features

How many megapixels will suffice for you?

minimum 6, 5 megapixels

* What optical zoom will you need? (None, Standard = 3x-4x, Ultrazoom = 10x-12x, Other - Specify)

The best I can get in Compact camera ultrazoom

* How important is "image quality" to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)

the best I Can get

Do you care for manual controls?

It isn't the most important.....

General Usage

* What will you generally use the camera for?

I need the camera to shoot animals and people in movement indoor and outdoor: I need to buy the Compact camera ultrazoom for the best performance in Ultrazoom and with low light .
The decision of a compact camera is caused by the need of a movie mode (the quality of the movie is not very important).

yes prints A4 only but with detail

If ultrazoom and low light performance are your most important criteria, the Fuji S6000 is probably your best bet. The other cameras simply don't have the high ISO quality that Fuji can deliver. You won't have IS but for sports high ISO performance is more important. It also won't have the rotating LCD.

Of course, a dSLR would be even better, but I'm not sure you are willing to consider that or get what you need in that price range and you'd give up video.

The Canon S3/S5 has IS, rotating LCD, and great movie mode with zoom, but it won't perform in low light like the Fuji.

Which features are most important to you?

My most important criteria are:
Low light performance, distance performance (optical ultrazoom) , Image Stabilization (action photos), image quality, movie mode (but I don't need much quality movie). Summarizing, I need the best compact ultrazoom of the market..................................

Image stabilisation doesn't help so much with action photos. Image stabilisation helps avoid camera shake when you're using a slow shutter speed, which would tend to give motion blur when the subject is moving. If you want a frozen, sharp subject that's moving, you need a fast shutter speed, which in low light means high ISO sensitivity and / or a fast (wide aperture) lens to get correct exposure.

The best ultrazoom for high ISO is, as David says, the Fuji S6500fd, followed by the Fuji S9600 if you want a hinged LCD. Either would give you good detailed prints at A4, with the S9600 you could go a fair bit larger.
