I found myself in Boston a few weeks ago and got a few good shots off with my little Canon A85- using fences, newspaper stands, parking meters, or anything I could for a make shift tripod. Boston is such an amazing city~ I wish I had more time to explore and shoot. Here are a few of my favorites, and the rest can be seen here (http://chrisross.smugmug.com/gallery/3145862/3/172635422#172635194)

was the name a famous song many years ago.

I was born and raised for 3 decades in Boston.. then I spent the next three decades in the Arctic of Alaska.

The only thing I miss about Boston.. .. is the "food" !

Pizza @ Regina's on 12 1/2 Thatcher St. the best in the world, people stand in line for miles it seems, just to taste this special pizza that only can be described as the world's best due to the OLD BRICK LINED OVENS.. that is their secret. they tried to open franchises in other places. they would not work because of the unique taste that can only come from those old ovens.

Boston. my home town...

Alaska my home!

I do miss taking photos on the Boston commons that was a favorite place to hang out and capture people !!
