A friend of mine loaned me his old Nikkor Macro lens that he bought back in the 70's...then he made the move to Cannon years later. I slapped the bad boy on my D200, and although a little tricky to manipulate, the lens is amazing.

Wow, looks like amazing sharpness with short DOF ... anything else you noticed about this lens?

Yeah, I also noticed the lens performs best between f8 ~ f/11. The colors seem to be a tad bit off, but its easily fixed in PP.
