Hi, this is my 1st review on this forum so I hope this helps :

Purchase date : 7/1/07
Price: 250

Pros: 3 in Screen, Good Quality Pictures, Nice Features ( color swap / color accent), Size

Cons: Somewhat slow processor, No battery indicator, batter life is average to below average

I would like to say that I'm the average digital camera user, I go for point and shoot more then manual controls. The first thing that strikes me about this camera is the 3.0 in screen, its very impressive, bright, sharp and was the 1st thing that caught my eye. The camera is a decent size and fits comfortably in most pockets. The camera follows the same style as other Canon Elphs and takes good quality pictures. The camera does a good job of Point and School although it takes longer for it to focus then I would like, I have not used any manual features sense I am not too familar when the logistics of it. The battery life is just average and the lack of a battery indicator is frustrating. The movie mode is excellent and supports up to 4 gb cards which allows for plenty of recording time. Overall I am pleased with the camera but am not sure if I would purchase it vs other Canon cameras, I would probaly prefer the SD800, but they were sold out and said that the camera was discontinued and the replacement was the SD850 which was out of my budget. I am happy with the camera and it does its job well but there are better one in its class
