Hello, everyone! Sorry for my English (I haven't practised for a long time).
I have a question. I bought G7 last week and am happy with it. But one thing is disturbing me: when I make a picture with a flash, there is a dark shade in the corners of image. Especially it's noticeable when an object I photograph is close to the camera. This shadow is very visible in the right bottom corner of the picure (if I take the camera aflat - see the attachment) or in the left bottom corner (when I take the camera upright). I've been said that isn't a flaw - that's just a shadow from the object-glass. Is it true? I haven't met this feature in any reviews and in the other fotocameras (though I am amateur photographer).
Thank you in advance!

I think you are too close to the object that the camera body casted a shadow over it.

Try stepping back a bit. The G7 is really a nifty camera, I have one and I love it.

I guess if it's the shadow, it must be from the object-glass not from the body of the camera. Frankly, I acknowledge that this darkening most likely occurs because of the objective (this point of view is confirmed by the fact that the shadow changes its location when I use different hold of the camera). But I'm surprised that I haven't read of this problem before so I decided to ask others if it's true or not.
