A little fun with photoshop

I've been playing around with photoshop CS3 lately and found some interesting tutorials on the net and came up with these. I'm very new to photoshop so they're nothing spectacular but I love the effect. If anyone has any tips on how to improve feel free to share. Thanks for looking,
