Been going back and forth between these two cameras for weeks reading the forums hear and elsewhere. Any and all suggestions and thoughts are welcome. Thanks...Particulars are below!!

How many megapixels will suffice for you?
5 or 6 but everything seems to have more these days.
* What optical zoom will you need?
4x - 5x
* How important is “image quality” to you?

Do you care for manual controls?
Not too much
General Usage:
On the go with kids, vacation, at the pool, around town etc.
Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
Mostly 4x6 or 5x7 but do print the occasional 8x10
Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?

Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?
Well, kids move pretty fast...:)
