I went on a wakeboarding trip with some friends a few weeks ago and thought I'd share a few of the pics. I was trying out my new Nikkor 70-300 VR lens (on a D50). I'm still new to this whole photography thing, but I'm slowly learning :). The VR came in VERY handy since the boat was VERY bouncy on the water.

The lens seems to get great colors under good lighting. Once it started getting darker the colors were significantly less saturated. I'm still learning, so I'm sure with some camera adjustments I could probably do better (or with a little more post-processing).
And sorry about the large images. If you would like to see more, they are posted here: http://ww2.cs.fsu.edu/~donate/wakeboard/
