I just got notification from dcresource.com that someone was trying to gain access to my account (used address 72.233.34.186).

Keep an eye out for this yourself and make sure that your passwords are reasonably strong.

I don't know if this was a serious attack or just juvenile screwing around.

I had the same thing happen to me. I looked up the IP address and it's registered to-

I just did a google search asking how to find out who owns an IP and this site popped up and I used that. Gotta love google!! LOL!!

Had the same email. Why would anyone want access to these accounts? Maybe trying some hacker software.

The easiest way to find out all the info you want on a domain name or IP that I've found is to use http://whois.domaintools.com/ and add the item at the end.


Example: http://whois.domaintools.com/17.0.0.0
