New Guy New Camera....yada yada

Hello everyone, Im new to everything, this site, photography and cameras. I currently have a canon powershot s 30, which i enjoy. Im currently looking for something new. I have my eyez on the Canon PowerShot S3 IS or the Kodak Z712 IS. Can some of yous experts help me decide which ones best and why?

Wow! I just looked at the resource page and there was 98 people viewing the Which cam should i buy, yet i have no help with my post...Did i do something wrong?

I, and a lot of other people, don't like the color reproduction of Kodak in general. I haven't seen any noise comparisons, and they're probably pretty equal if I had to just make a blind guess at it (as the sensor size is the same), but the S3 does pretty poorly in low light. You pretty much have to use the flash if you want anything semi-acceptable in very low light conditions. And once you've used the swivel screen on the S3, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.
