I had a day with a Tamron 17 50,went walking, no tripod, no flash
Fun just walking & shooting, ususally I am accompanied by a 2.7 KG Manfrotto & my Sigma 70 300

I loved taking these shots, enjoyed the freedom & the lightweight
Unfortunately the lens stopped working halfway through & it was after a few scary moments that I got it fixed, I returned it

Tomorrow I go walking with my Sigma 17 70 :)

some nice shots there D. you're experience almost mirrors mine. while i was happy with the tamrons optics, the build quality and problems let it down. shame really. :o

Wow Drama....what clarity!! The dragonfly is fabulously sharp! Looks like it has a gold stripe down it's body. Like the black and white too.

I used iso 200 & most shots were taken wide open, so none of them are less than 1/60 secs
