I need some help to choose from these two cameras...

I've finally took some time to think and "throw away" the old film camera, and start using a digital camera.

I've researched about these two cameras and still can't pick one of them.
The Canon PowerShot A85 or the Fugi FinePix E510?

Keep in mind that the photos would just be of family, pets, nature, tourist places, etc.
