Hello,

I will be taking some photos of some fireworks shows and was wondering if anyone with prior experience could offer some suggestions as far a shutter speed, aperture, focus, and ISO. I know that specifics are impossible to give but I would just like an idea for a good shutter length and how to properly focus.

I will be shooting with my XT using a 28-80 lens on a tripod (possible with the remote trigger).

Thanks,

Chris

Looks like the last ones I shot were in the range of ISO200-400, 1/15-1/30, and f5.6. As far as focus, set to manual focus and infinity. Tripod and remote release highly suggested also.

Just one more, from tonight's show (July 4th, 2007) in Des Plaines, IL

This was really cool to see in person, though ... I just didn't do it justice ... but it was unusual, regardless.
