Ordered a 10-20 sigma, decided I wanted a super wide (very few shots I tend to shoot at 17 mm of 17-40 so I figured why not go nuts and go super wide see how it does)

Anyone used it? Tests I've seen have been "ok" not bad not insanely good, got it for great deal (422 from dell with coupon)

Prospero and jamison have(had) one. Both like it, both have not used other ultra wide angle zooms.
Biggest downside is the light fall off towards the edges which is less gradual and stronger than the also "vignetting" Canon 10-22mm, and still apparent when stopping down.

Looks like he uses Photomatix to do his HDR images (based on his tags in Flickr.)

I don't think you can go wrong with the Sigma, if wide angle is more important to you than what I think are small issues with the lens (which you can correct PP). Sometimes I wish I had the 2mm difference that the sigma offers over the Tokina. Post us some images once you get it!

I'm going through this myself right now - which super wide to buy. I am leaning toward the Canon just because it's usually a safe place to go. There seems to be more conflicting information out there about the super wides than most other categories of lens. I have a spreadsheet going of various reviews and it's looking pretty messy. My guess is that they all perform pretty solidly.
